ABOUT ME

I am a behavioural and evolutionary ecologist interested in predator-prey interactions and coevolution. My research focuses on antipredator defences, specifically prey warning signals and chemical defences. I am particularly interested in how predators gather and use information about prey profitability, and I investigate this by conducting laboratory and field experiments with avian predators.

Currently, I am an Academy of Finland Research Fellow and MSCA Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the University of Jyväskylä (Finland) where I study the role of gut microbiomes in predator-prey interactions.
